Either way, what it comes down to for me is common sense and intuition. <BR/><BR/>"Follow the child" means you follow their cues, which includes the signs they will give you when they need some help and guidance. I can't tell you precisely what those are since they will vary widely with each child, and some will tell you more explicitly than others what they need from you, and of course they will get better at this as they get older. <BR/><BR/>It would seem to go without saying that you need a "prepared environment" - a child won't learn to read if you don't provide books.Eleanor Deakinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14612800544893345222noreply@blogger.com
